YAMASAKI DESIGN WORKS
BARABARA Plate POP-UP

July 24 (Fri) – July 29 (Wed), 2026

(Designer Hiroshi Yamasaki will be in store on July 25 from approximately 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM)

At a furniture manufacturer in Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, offcuts of various wood species and sizes are produced every day.
That’s why we designed “BARABARA plate”—a collection of “boards” that come in a variety of sizes and wood species, complete with knots and cracks.
These boards, with only their rounded edges smoothed, gain value as users freely decide how to use them—whether as cutting boards, flat plates, or stands for displaying lucky charms.
