At a furniture manufacturer in Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, offcuts of various wood species and sizes are produced every day.
So, we designed “planks” that come in a variety of sizes and wood species—some with knots, some with cracks.
These planks, with only their rounded edges smoothed, gain value when users freely decide how to use them—as cutting boards, flat plates, or stands for displaying lucky charms.
