After considering the shape of a single dish that can be used in various ways, such as as a serving dish, grilled fish, curry, etc., we ended up with a deep oval dish.
The base of the dish is finished in the image of the slightly ashy color and atmosphere of kompura bottles, which were used to be made in the past as storage containers, resulting in a nostalgic and calm color.

The shape of the oval dish is a curve known as a “super ellipse. This is a closed curve similar to an ellipse that applies the “lame curve” called “super ellipse” invented by Danish mathematician Piet Hein to solve traffic problems at intersections, and has been incorporated into architecture, furniture, and various other designs.
