Orii was first founded as Orii coloring studio. Since the foundation, they have been coloring Takaoka bronzeware.
In recent years, they have established the techniques to color thin materials (less than 1mm), rolled metals, and copper base alloys with a hint from traditional techniques which were used for old ritual articles. With the new Takaoka coloring techniques, they are now working on inside walls, interior/exterior products, craftworks and such.
