A hole is provided with on the dripper 2.0 (for 1 to 2 servings) to confirm the quantity of the dripped coffee on the base, in consideration of using it directly on the cup.

The dripper 4.0 (for 1 to 4 servings) has no hole on the base, but it can be used for serving up to the sufficient 4th serving placed on a glass server. So, please select your favorite size.
