‘Cylinder’ is an antique-looking Tobimatsu lamp that provides a lovely, soft light.
Made via the ‘slip casting’ molding method, ‘Cylinder, odd lines’ sports a simple design with beautiful ‘odd’ seam lines. ‘Cylinder, fin’ on the other hand is made made via the ‘shinobi’ technique; a technique which has been loved for many years, to enhance shadows once lit.

Mold growth:
We do not repair any scratches on the mold caused through use or chips that may occur once the molds are divided. Such scratches and/or chips exist as part of the shade itself and we aim to highlight the process involved further going forward via new shades. This lighting series allows people to enjoy such differences in the ‘mold growth’; appreciating how little changes can enhance its overall fixed shape.

  • Differences in size, shape, etc., and distortion peculiar to pottery may occur.
    There may also be protrusions on the shade where scratches on the mold have occurred. Please understand this is the artist's intention before purchase.
  • Do not hit or drop the product as this may cause damage.
  • Lampshades and Lampholders are sold separately and must be purchased together.
    The lampshade can be purchased without the lampholder, however the lampholder cannot be purchased without the lampshade.
  • Regarding paid options for shorter delivery times :
    This is a paid option that can shorten the default delivery time by one month (default: 15% increase in price). Please inquire before ordering if you wish to have this option.

  • We do not accept cash-on-delivery for orders of this product.

Regarding Delivery / Gifting

Delivery Time 2~3 months after backorder.

The cutoff date for orders is the 26th of the current month, and items arrive at our shop around the end of the month after next, and will be shipped after inspection. * In the case of a busy periods for ceramist, we may inform customers of a delivery date that adds one month to the default delivery time.
