Ogasawara Foundry is a factory of Nambu Cast Iron in Iwate Prefecture.
Its representative is the cast iron artist Rikucho Ogasawara, a pioneer of modern design of Nambu Ironware. Varying from objects that have a strong presence to practical items such as frying pans and traditional iron kettles, the perfection of the simple and modern form while conveying the depth of flavor and warmth unique to the iron material cannot be seen elsewhere.
